Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) wish to draw the attention of the President of the federal republic of Nigeria, the Senate president, the speaker of the federal house of representatives, the minister of petroleum, 36 state governors and the Inspector general of Police to note the followings and proffer immediate solution for Peace sake:
1. The sudden existence of long queue in petrol stations in Nigeria and the south eastern states in particular.
2. The disappointing news about the missing 2016 budget.
*SCARCITY OF FUEL has drastically reduced the number of commercial vehicles hired to convey students to school and our teeming youths and parents to work.
We humbly call on Mr president(minister of Petroleum ) and his minister of State to see to the quick end of long queues in petrol stations and stoppage of sale of PMS above the pump price as officially announced by Federal Government of Nigeria.
*MISSING 2016 BUDGET: Nigeria is too big for such a political jamboree. Nigerian Youths forbids any organisation whether governmental or non governmental to use our future and that of the generation yet unborn to play "Ludo game" as it's so shameful that such a God forsaken news can be said of about a country like Nigeria. If its true that such document submitted to the national assembly is missing, the Senate president and the speaker of house of representatives had better resigned for incompetence and other principal officers of both chambers forced to follow suit.
In conclusion,we Nigerian youths under the aegis of Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) signals without any fear or favour of contradiction that we will storm the streets with our ever ready, dogged, corrosive but armless youths and students, ceasing the commercial activities of all States of the federation for five (5)days if these aforementioned problems are not solved within the next 20 hours from 12:01am_14th day of January,2016, so we so submit.
His Youthfulness,
Rt.Hon(Amb) GT.C Samuel;
Speaker,Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN)
